Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. She is currently the president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a California native Buss has been raised by an affluent family. Jerry Buss, her father, was an entrepreneur with a real estate business who later eventually became the proprietor of Lakers Entertainment and Sports.
